The first poster is shockingly ignorant about astronomy, or is trying to lead you astray.

Please explain where you're stuck? I find it difficult to accept that you've actually *tried* to do these questions and haven't been able to get one of the twelve varied items that you've posted here. For instance, simply looking up "Polaris" on line will get you the answer to #1. Any encyclopedia article on the sun will give you about half the answers. A dictionary will help with a couple of others.

However, I will give you a couple of bits that are more difficult to find through the direct research you've failed to do.

16. A -- this does come from the definition of convection, but only if you know how to interpret what you see in the dictionary.

17. D

18. B

Before you consider posting here again, please make sure that you've done your due diligence as a student. If nothing else, eliminate the joke answers and other obvious falsehoods. For instance, 18 A and D are there only for comedy relief.
