Revised - Your energy is best spent on making it a strong paper. It might come across as a little overdone unless you are doing this paper as a piece that might be presented to the public - doing that type of 'marketing piece' always makes the student stand out -if that's what you want to do. That can be good or bad. If this is an analytical paper, ditch the clip art. Think this way, what would look professional?

i don't think that they will really care whether you do or not. The marker is only interested in what you know and that's what they will focus on, however it might indicate that you have made an effort. Remember lecturers are people too.

when in doubt watermark. that way it will be subtle and still show the extra effort.
