constants stay the same and variables are the things you are testing

constants are the fixed quantities to denote specifications of the l.e

whereas variables are the stores to keep the expected variations happening at desired intervals

for example considering an exp that has 'x' as a variable and

the variations observed for that part can be given to x1,x2,...xn

if we consider another part of experiment we have to choose the other variable

variable can be of any name or a character or any thing ,even you can give your own name and your friends name

But for Global consideration everyone's choice will be x,y,z ,a,b,c,m,n,o or some other p,q characters

And constants name is allotted by the writer only because we are not changing its value

usually k ........etc

in an experiment, the constants are constant - they always stay the same. whereas with variables, they change and make the experiment a fair test. variables can include loads of things such as temperature, amounts of substances, etc.

Constants stay the same, they are constant. Variables change, like variables in a math equation, they vary.

like if you want to see if water or vinegar makes baking soda explode, you'd test the baking soda with water, and then baking soda with vinegar.

The water and vinegar are variables, because they changed. The Baking soda is constant, it stays the same.
