I DO NOT WANT A POLITICAL STANCE, PLEASE.
If I wanted to use a Washington Post article as one of my sources for a paper, do you think my teacher would mark me down, or is it considered a reliable source?
Thanks!

Are you citing a news report or an op-ed piece? Make clear which it is. Op-eds express a point of view and should not be cited as authoritative.

Generally, yes. You just have to read the article closely enough to ensure it meets your standards of objectivity and reliability. The Washington Post has had brilliant and disgraceful articles; let the article speak for itself.

Yes, you can, but you need to learn how to spell the verb "cite" correctly first. "Site" is a noun, like a web site.

You need the title, the author or

authors and date of the article and the URL address. For the reference page and the author and date in text citations, either APA or MLA format.
