I'm writing a research paper on the chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis and I have NO idea what to write about. I don't want to do a paper on the christian elements of the novel because that is super obvious. I'm not sure if I just want to focus on one book or the whole series so anything will be appreciated :)
thank you!

Concentrate in one book and write about the personality transformation of the main characters through the lessons learned during the story. For example:

The Horse and his Boy

* Bree: started very proud, very high opinion of himself, speak as an authority regarding subjects of which he knows little

* Shasta (Cor): described not as having bad manners, but as never having learned any good manners, gradually revealed as a brave and enduring character.

* Hwin: dignified and mild mannered horse; stoical

* Aravis: from arrogance and self-centeredness to humble and emphatic.

I don't know how long the paper should be, but......you might try something along these lines.

1. Conversion in the Chronicles of Narnia - see Edmund in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe vs Eustace in the Voyage of the Dawn Treader vs Emeth in The Last Battle.

2. The various witches as depictions of evil in the books.

3. The various ways God is depicted in the Chronicles - basically, a study of Aslan and what he is an does in each book.

All the different kind of Elves. Just like the humans of Earth

they had their own Cold War. They are

a reflection of humanity's problems, real and imagined.
