So I have class tomorrow, and I have this test take home test with only one essay question. I'm very sorry for bothering with this stupid question. I'm sorry my first language is Spanish, and in my country during school I never heard of an "Essay Question". So what exactly it is? How do you answer it?

Do I have to make a whole essay? If so, it doesn't specify how many words. What do I do?

Basically it is like writing a typical essay; if the pages aren't specified at least write enough so that you cover major topic areas. For your thesis you should state whether you agree if it is a problem or not. Whatever side you choose, you fill the body of the essay with your points of why you chose that argument. Then you wrap up with a conclusion. I would say 3 paragraphs in the body minimum if you are in high school, and if you are in university and it is hand written I would say 3-5 pages. This ensures you are writing enough information. If you are good at conveying your point then it could be shorter.

An essay question is a question that you have to answer by writing in essay. Essays doesnt give you specification on how many words you need to write. And it doesn't have to be a whole essay depending on whether your teacher decision is to write one or not. As long as you answer your question in essay form.

Hope I helped!
