reseach paper topic help!?

i need to write a reseach paper for english. It cant be related to psychology or science. it needs to be at least 8 pages. i have two ideas that i cant pick between

1) How has J.K. Rowling's life changes since writing Harry Potter? I would also go into where she got her inspiration from and how she formed all of her ideas, because its actually very interesting. I would also talk about how she deals with her succes throughout the years.

2) How has YouTube changed lives and changes the way videos are made and shared? I need help developing this! I want to talk about how huge Vloging and videomaking has gotton over the last few years and how it has inspired so many people and changes lives. I originally wanted to write about the Vlogbrothers and Nerdfighteria but wasnt able to find enough credible articles on them.

I would suggest that you move away from these two topics. The first sounds like it will all come from one book....the biography or autobiography of J.K. Rowlings.... this is not research. Research is 'reviewing several sources of information'.



Your second... Yes you need help developing this one...probably not MANY sources of information (differing opinions of information).

the topic on JK Rowling would be easier to write, since you don't have to gather statistics like on youtube. But it would also be harder since you have to find creditable sources on her life, which isn't like facts that are all over the net.



the youtube topic would provide more interesting facts with statistics. you can write about how it has benefited the owner of youtube (google i think) with the numerous ads on the site. you can research the actual amount of money. Then you can investigate the basic concept of the website, how vlogging and posting/commenting works, the background history of the site. Then you can write about youtube celebrities- the most interesting factor. Youtube celebrities like Shane Dawson not only get popularity/fame with their views, but they also get paid if they are a partner. Then there are the other job opportunities related to their fame, all because of youtube.
