You first have to put them on the same «denominator» (the number under the line) Here you can choose 20 (it's the smallest common «denominator» So you take 1/4 multiply each number by 5. It give you 5/20. Then you take 7/10 you multiply it by 2. It give you 14/20. You just have to add them but remember you just add the number over the line. So it gave us 5/20+14/20=19/20

You have to find a common denominator. A common denomator is 20 (10*2 = 20 = 4*5)
Mutliply 1/4 by 5 and 7/10 by 2. You get 5/20 and 14/20. Now you can plot it.

depends on what you have to round them to (nearest one, tenth, hundreth, etc.). but you'd have to find the least common denominator to add them together and then round after they're added.
