i hate MLA format!!!!!!!

okay well i am going to try to explain, if its not 100% right, im truly sorry

everything is double spaced and in times new roman 12 sized font.

ok well first try to adjust where your margins are so that the first line is at 1/2 of an inch. align it to the righ side of the page, write your last name then the page number. ex: Smith1

skip down another half an inch, nad switch to the left hand side

write your name,

press enter

write your instructors name

press enter

then the class you are taking ex. Writing101

press enter

then the complete date

enter once more

title, centered, not underlined or bolded,

press enter

and begin your essay.

on the upper right hand corner of every page put your last name and the page number.

goodluck! i apoligize for inaccuracies or difficulties trying to reformate your MicroWord.

MLA is a type of documentation usually used in research projects or cited papers. You should buy Lester's Guide to Writing Research Papers, eleventh or twelfth edition. Most of the book is on MLA format, and it gives you tips on citation and format. It's $25, but you will most likely use it in college.

I don't understand why you need specific documentation for a college essay, but it's your teacher, not mine.

Good luck!

Its the modern language asscociation...Its a format used to write a professional essay. It consists of Your name, date, professors' name, Class; etc in the upper left hand corner, your body essay, and a detailed work cited page at the end. If you go to google.com and type in MLA essay format it will give you all the info you need and it will convert your sources and bibliography into MLA fomat, which is the most difficult IMO. Good luck! If you need more info plz email me

Cite only the cyber web website you used. That become your source. think of of this analogy: you consulted a textbook as area of your analyze. at the back of this textbook are 7 pages of references that the e book's authors consulted as they have been writing the e book or quoted in the e book. might you cite the textbook or the textbook plus the 7 pages of references?
