If you're talking about a job interview, answer it as if you're still working on yourself.

Never say anything that'll make yourself seem too over confident like, "In ten years, I hope to be the president of this company." or anything too cocky like, "I hope to have your job."

People prefer answers like, "I hope to have completed my ... degree so that I can work with ... I've always loved ... so that's where I'll see myself."

I hope that's what you meant.

The easiest way to answer is, from yourself ask, what do I want to do? and go though the steps to get there prior with real time schedules. eq. a masters degree take 5-6 years just pick something and work a timeline.
