I'm not asking for extremely huge help or anything because I'm the one doing the work but the problem is ok - it is a religion final paper where it asks for three questions:

What is your religion? (If you do not practice a religion, or consider yourself religious, then what is your philosophy, belief, life outlook, etc.)

How were you led to it? (Family, community, self interest, school, world)

How do your ideas of religion/philosophy then go from you back into the world? How do you work with/relate to the world at large? (People, earth, society)

...And my professor says it has to be 6-7 pages in length with 3-5 different sources. I don't know why he wants 6-7 pages just to answer those three simple questions. What I'm having trouble is trying to come up with enough material in my brain to answer those three simple questions, which I only think it should be 3 pages (around there). Can someone please help me come up with material/information to fill up 6-7 pages?

You've got a great teacher and they are trying to teach you how to think for yourself, not what to think.

If you can get it in 3 pages, you're not thinking deep enough. If you need ideas then look up some of the books about philosophy and religion in your local library and ask how some people are able to write hundreds of pages on it.

Try answering question 3 first, then working backwards to understand and explain how you came to those beliefs and why you believe what you do. Consider at least 5 different aspects of life, over two dozen of which are listed as categories here in Yahoo Answers, or nearly 200 if you consider the sub categories. They can be as simple as how you dress, what you do on Sunday, what TV shows you watch, sports you participate in, hobbies, activities, relationships with family, friends, what kind of work you want to do when you grow up, views on education, unemployment, welfare, etc.

Virtually anything and everything we do in life by choice is determined by our belief system or religion. Even the games you play with others or not is based on belief. Now don't tell me you can't think of anything. If you'll get started and have fun doing it, you'll probably be like me and find it hard to limit to 6-7 pages.

I'm Christian, specifically nazarene. My parents and my whole family is the same. www.nazarene.org will get you any info you need about the religion itself.

Nazarenes are basically Protestant Christians. We place a major emphasis on missions work so as far as how we relate to the world... we are called to serve others and share the gospel. I personally try not to force my opinions on anyone, i hate sidewalk preachers and those stupid christian tracks that you find lying around.

I would go in detail how you feel your religion or lack thereof differentiates your worldview from other people. How you view people of other religions, Why you think your religion or lack thereof is better.

You need to basically need to spill your guts about how your religious or nonreligious worldview changes your perspectives about life and people in general.

If it helps, you can email it to me at rouelimn@gmail.com I will read it over and tell you what I think.
