Artie,
Every fraction is a division problem, but you divide the denominator into the numerator. If you do that with a calculator, you will get your answer. Then you need to know how many decimal places your teacher wants. You may have to round the answer to one or two decimal places.
1. 5 divided by 16 2. 1 divided by 3 (will come out .33333333, so call it .33 with a line over the last 3) 3. etc.

5/16= 0.3125
1/3= 0.33(repeating)
7/11=0.63(repeating)
4/9=0.44(repeating)
11/12=0.92
8/15=0.53( the 3 is repeating)
*whenever a number is repeating always put a line over the number.
example if 0.63 is repeating i would put a line over 63. and if in 0.53, if the 3 is repeating, then i would only put a line over the 3 not the 5
Hope this helps(:

You can do this by just entering it in the calculator for example for the first one do 5/16.
5/16 =.3125
1/3 = .33333333 (repeating)
7/11 = .636363(repeating)
4/9 = .444444(repeating)
11/12 =.9166666666667
8/15= 5.33333333

5/16=0.31
1/3=0.33
7/11=0.64
4/9=0.44
11/12=0.92
8/15=0.53
