Find the Surface Area of the rectangular prism that has these following dimensions.
Length: 4.5 in.
Width: 6 in
Height: 12 in
Surface area =______in.2 This is where i fill my answer in Help!!

So the formula is: SA= 2(LW+LH+WH)
SA=2(4.5in(6in)+( 4.5in)(12in)+(6in)(12in)
SA=2(27in^2)+(54in^2)+(72in^2)
SA=2(153in^2)
SA=306in^2

btw the "^2" is exponent two (raise to the second power)

There are six surfaces; two measure 4.5 x 6; two measure 6 x 12,
and the other two measure 4.5 x 12 so multiply those out, double each answer, and add the three answers together.

SA of a rectangular prism = 2(L+W+H)
= 2( 22.5 ) = 45 square inches
