Can someone help me write an intro on lying for my research paper?

Question

I have the intro and it goes like this: Throughout the evolution of lying, our views on this subject have been altered in a way where unwritten definitions of lying have become accustomed to moral reasoning today. Though lying has been considered an anathema throughout history, exceptions should be added when a lie is unselfishly motivated.
the first sentence would be my "hook" and the second is my "thesis"
I would greatly appreciate some help!

We've all lied at some point in our lives.Whether it be a small fib or perhaps lying about the missing 2 dollars that you mysteriously found on the floor.For some people lying has become second nature to them.Being fooled, believing it's human nature, and is how humans have evolved to protect themselves and others from life's harsh realities.But how far can you go without overstepping the thin-fine line between your everday "white-lie" and supressing the truth that really matters?
